We have all been told to use blogs. About six months ago I didn’t even know what a blog was (some say “I still don’t”).
As I have got into blogs and have started to use them to help promote my business I have started to realise the importance of running/hosting your own blog.
Although the process took me a few attempts to get right, from the start I realised that I needed some help with design and formatting. WordPress was my chosen platform and very quickly I started to realise that building a wp blog is relatively simple but getting certain things in the right place can be quite trying.
This is why I decide to find a company that offered themes that were pre configured. Thesis although you do need a small amount of computer knowledge to use their platform the support through their forum has been invaluable. There are many companies out there offering similar platforms to work with have a look and choose the one that you feel combatable with.
What ever you do get blogging as the search engines love them and it does help with SEO configuration. On of my business sites in just over a two week period went from page 9 on Google to page 1 as a result of blogs
